2 families went and stayed 2 nights at the dairy cottage. Accommodation price includes farm experience in the morning and late afternoon. All other items like food, horse-riding, picnic lunch, etc, got to pay extra. Many rooms (2 Master bedroom with queen size bed, 2 bunk rooms sleeps 6) but only 1 bathroom with attached toilet and 1 toilet outside.... More

Stayed 2 nights recently at the wallaby cottage, which was very spacious for our family of four. Overall, it was a very interesting experience for my two young children who have never stayed at a farm before. We were the only family staying during that time so it felt very exclusive and we had all the attention we needed from... More

My family & I recently stayed at this piece of Australian paradise for 2 nights 3 days with the fully catered option (that part was my choice :). The only time it was sunny, was when we first arrived and had a fantastic picnic lunch by the Albert river. The boys loved skimming stones & watching the billie boil, my... More

Cedar Glen farmstay is real great destination for families with kids or elders. Animal feeding, whip cracking, picnic by the creek, horse riding, milking cows and back-to-nature adventure tracking were real fun. Nigel and Pam were absolutely great host and they really make us feel so much at home. The cottage where we bunked in just so authentic (counry style,... More

just a brilliant expereince for the kids and us. Feeding sheep-hens-turkeys-pigs and milking cows, going for a stream picnic or going up the mountain on a 4 wheel to watch the sunset with champagne, horse riding playing with peacocks and cats or just relaxing in the balcony we had the time of our lives.

This was a gamble that worked! It was a great few days totally different from everything else we did on holiday. We loved the farmers cottages we stayed in - it was like living in a museum! The activities were very memorable - whip cracking, beautiful picnics with THE MOST FANTASTIC FOOD, clean fresh air, horse riding, lamb cuddling and... More

Well worth a visit. The hosts are warm & welcoming & our stay was enjoyed. The children (aged 7 to 10 years of age) had lots of fun with spalshing in the creek, supping billy tea & eating damper, feeding the assorted livestock, trying their hands at milking, whip cracking, boomerang throwing ...& the highlight, the horse trek.

We had a wonderful time, staying in an authentic cottage with great views, animal feeding and milking, picnic lunches, great meals and very interesting activities. My friends here in Malaysia can't believe the range of activities we enjoyed. I think my kids enjoyed this stay more than the theme parks. I know my wife and I did. Wonderful hosts, guides... More
