We've just got back from a holiday in Cornwall and Devon and stayed at Vale Cottage in Croyde. The cottage is absolutely stunning, a real credit to Chris and Terri. We were made to feel very welcome, and it was fantastic to be so close to the village. Can't recommend this B&B enough! Croyde village is so pretty and the... More

My girlfriend and I have just come back from this amazing B&B in Croyde. The location was great, very peaceful and picturesque and the owners (Chris & Terri) were extremely accommodating and friendly. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to stay in Croyde for any purpose - Surf, relaxing, stop over etc. We will definitely be back!... More

This B&B in Croyde and its owners are amazing! The Vale Cottage couldn't be more cosy and comfy, warm and full of character. Stayed there with my boyfried a couple of times and we loved it. Also, we stayed there on our first trip together, so this B&B has a special meaning for me too. The breakfast is great, soooo... More

Vale cottage is located just outside croyde main village centre, at most a ten minute walk. My boyfriend and I stayed at the cottage for 4 nights during the Easter half term for a short surfing trip. Every evening we walked into the village for dinner, there is also the Manor pub 5 mins away, which also serves a good... More

We stayed at Vale Cottage around this time last year and enjoyed it and the surrounding area so much we came back again the other week. The cottage itself is a traditional Devon longhouse of some hundreds of years old c/w thatched roof and inglenook fireplace. The interior is not 5* hotel but all the better for it. Homely and... We've been coming to Croyde for seven years and, having stayed at most of the B&Bs here, Vale Cottage is our favourite: cosy cottage rooms, friendly and welcoming hosts (with plenty of ideas for walks and trips during your stay), excellent surfer facilities and a chilled atmosphere. The cottage is tucked down a peaceful lane, surrounded by rolling hills and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Barn which is at the end of the garden at Vale Cottage. The breakfast was amazing, Chris and Terri were both really friendly and easy going. The barn was lovely and secluded with it's own private garden, the only down side was the cockerel next door that woke us up early in the... More

We cannot recommend this B&B enough. A 14th Century Devon cottage with mod cons, but retaining a wonderful old world charm. Chris and Terri are so welcoming, you feel part of the family. Terri's cooked breakfast is the perfect start to the day. The cottage is perfectly situated, being close to the village centre, but away from the noise. Excellent... More
