The Inn is situated down at the end of a long single tract road. The view is outstanding and the log cabin atmosphere is relaxing. We had the room on the main floor which had a wrap around balcony with great views of the valley from 3 sides. The room was clean and well decorated and the bed was very... More

Beautiful Inn, gorgeous views, great hospitality. I got a chance to see all 5 rooms as no one had checked in when we arrived. We stayed in the Schoolhouse room - very charming, queen bed, clawfoot tub - very clean & cozy. There was a Barn room that was similar. I don't remember the names of the other 2 rooms... More

We only stayed one night, but Elizabeth and Will were friendly and helpful hosts. Since there aren't any dining places nearby, we ate dinner (modest extra charge, arrange in advance) and breakfast (included) there, both were excellent. The building looks rustic but is recent construction and amazingly neat and clean. None of those hundred-year-old dust bunnies under the bed like... More

What ambiance! The owners are charming. The views are spectacular. The food is delicious! We could not have asked for a nicer retreat and cabin-mates. It was a perfect fall getaway! One day will brought us a mess of trout fresh from the farm and Elizabeth cooked them up... yum! She cooks the most ingenious and delightful foods. Everything was... More

We are so glad to find this B&B! The photos on website looks a bit outdated, but all reviews seems to be real positive about this place, so we decided to give a try. So fortunate we did! This is a new log house custom-built by the inn keeper. All guest rooms have a great view as the house sits... More

This is a beautiful B&B with beautiful surroundings. The sitting room was huge with comfortable sofas and a huge fireplace. The wraparound porch afforded beautiful views. Our room was on the first floor. It was very comfortable and had windows that opened to let in the cool mountain air. The bath was enormous with a jacuzzi and a shower. Breakfasts... More

Our first time staying in a B&B..the benchmark has been set and it was an absolutely delight spending our time there. Elizabeth and Will are the type of hosts which makes you feel welcome and "at home". The Inn is first class is every respect and the meals provided were 5 star. Never have I encountered two people more accomodating... More

Beautiful place designed and built by the proprietor and her family. Nice sitting area with high ceiling. Wrap around porch overlooking hillside ( see photos on website ). Excellent breakfast. Our hostess Liz and her husband will were accommodating and hospitable. When asked, they directed us to local restaurants, and also offered to serve a gourmet style meal in house... More

August 2012 after reading the reviews, wife and I stayed at the Appalachian Inn B&B for three nights. The comforts of the house and the individual attention to detail of the five guests rooms provided us a chance to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscape and hills. Thank you Elizabeth & Will for a great experience and... More

We stayed in the bed and blossoms suite on the first floor for 3 nights June 30-July 3. North Carolina [the entire nation in fact] was currently incinerating from the inside out and we had hoped to find cool air up in the mountains. It was not cool, but it was less hot, and the Appalachian Inn provided a delightful... More
