We stayed four nights at this campground and had a great time. This is really the only true oceanfront accomodation on Ocracoke. Mosquitos were everywhere but that should be expected at the beach. We used Deep Woods Off and were not really bothered that much. Grounds and facilities were clean and staff was nice.

The campgrounds were clean, check in was easy, and the sites were roomy for even our large tent. The 'cold' showers were still quite comfortable and the bathrooms were adequate.
