Checked in recently for a short overnight. Pleasantly surprised, great location, beautiful view from 5th floor overlooking ocean side. Nicely maintained pool available on 2nd floor was fully enclosed so able to use in the off-season, the best time to visit the outer banks!!

Stayed here Thursday and Friday night. The website said new renovation. Not true. The rooms smelled horrible, bathroom had mold, the entire hotel seemed run down. They charged $257 one night which was supposed to be an ocean view. Turns out it was mostly a view of the parking lot. Staff seemed miserable. There was construction right on the beach....

1. There is a newspaper article posted in the lobby of the hotel authenticating the $1.5 million dollar renovation.
2. Your room was on the second floor but it does have a 180 degree ocean view....

My husband and I hated his hotel, the room was dirty and smelled. The staff were ALL rude to us, they would not give us another room. The manager was just as bad, not people skills, there are better hotels on Nags Head, please save your money and go elsewhere!
