we are from tennessee and just happen to find this motel when we came to maggie valley to stay.we have stayed at this motel since 2004 everytime we come to maggie valley. the peple and service are absolutely wonderfull,plus next to a creek, burn campfire everynite,swim in the pool in the day. to my family is like heaven on earth.... This motel has a problem with spiders. The 1st 15 minutes we were there we killed spiders in both rooms. They smelled of stale cigarette smoke and when we went to open the windows and curtains there were lots of spiders and webs. We killed them in corners and on the ceiling.
