This is a pitiful excuse for hotel. Most of the rooms are accessed from the outside. The rooms are old and smelly, with air conditioners that barely work. When you tell them that something doesn't work (like the door, for instance), they'll make ten million excuses about why it doesn't work, instead of just fixing it. The lazy maids will... more

We have car trouble on the way back from the beach and had to spend the night in Lumberton. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Several times, the staff checked to see if we needed anything and even offered to keep the pool open an hour later that normal should our children need to "relax" from sitting in... more

We stayed one night at this Hampton Inn while traveling from FL to NJ. It is conveniently located off I-95 and within walking distance to an Outback Steakhouse. The building layout of this Hampton is unlike any other Hampton Inn we have seen. It looks as though it may have been a former Quality Inn or Holiday Inn as one... more

We just came home from a trip to Orlando and we stayed at four hotels on our drive down. This was the first one we stayed at. It was nicely appointed-looked recently renovated. Nice amenities and friendly staff. Would recommend. more

I LOVE THIS HOTEL!!!!! I just want to say that right off the bat. I always stay here when I drive to or from NY. This Hampton Inn is so nice and super clean! I did stay here the end of July for 2 nights. I was even more pleasantly surprized to see the new room upgrades with the BEDS!!!... more

We normally love Hampton Inns. The only good thing about this one was the staff and breakfast. The rooms need updating, they seemed clean, just old. more

We stayed on our way from FL to VA. I was surprised that the hotel had exterior entrances, since the photo made it look like they were interior. That said, the exterior still needs some TLC, but the room itself was very nice. The new beds and pillows are amazing. The staff was extremely nice and helpful and breakfast was... more

As a Hampton Inn enthusiast, I always head for the nearest one on business. This place has definitely seen better days. Although the room was in decent shape for the age of the hotel, it just wasn't up to the usual Hampton standards. If you know hotels like I do, this property will soon become a Quality Inn or something... more

Stayed overnight on the way from PA to FL and then back again in August. I requested and got interior, non-smoking rooms both nights. The rooms were excellent. Plenty of pillows and comfy beds with thick comforters. The in-room internet worked without a hitch. Though most of the hotel is exterior access (half diagonally facing Rt. 95 a few hundred... more

We checked into this hotel, and checked right out. The desk clerk (actually, the manager) was rude, the room was GROSS........filthy, smelly, and the air conditioning didn't work. The pool was so small, it was unbelievable.........the smallest pool I have ever seen at a hotel/motel/inn! We travelled a bit futher up I-95 (heading to NJ from Florida) and stopped at... more
