We stopped at the Hampton Inn in Lumberton as a one night stopover when driving from Northern Virginia to Central Florida. The first floor room was clean and very nicely appointed. The staff was friendly and the waffles for breakfast were delicious. Other than being a bit pricier than our usual Best Western - it was a great experience. More

I always stop at the Lumberton Hampton In on my way to Florida. It's definataly an older motel. The rooms open onto a balconey or a stoop like the old days. The rooms are clean and the breakfast at par with other Hamptons I have been at. More

We are first time snow birders and stopped here on our way south. Short distance from the I95 exit ramp. Nice greeting on arrival, room was spacious and clean and beds comfortable. Very good buffet breakfast and the free cookies were tasty. More

I'm a real fan of Hamptons, and this one is "almost" up to usual Hampton standards: the furniture is the same, the big HD TV is nice, the bed is great, the staff is extremely friendly, the free breakfast features the same baked eggs and DIY waffles as everywhere else. This is our favorite hotel stop on our trips from NY to Fl. The hotel staff is extra helpful and friendly. The breakfast is awesome and changes often. Always fresh fruit and cookies and coffee.
