We took a motorcycle trip from Florida to Boston this was one of our stops along the way. I was pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Linville Falls Lodge & Cottages. I have to say I was not expecting much when I booked it. I was just looking for a place to lay my head for the evening. The... More

My family and I stayed one night in one of the guest rooms (#5). We checked in during the afternoon hours. You have to register at the restaurant, even though there is a building that says "office". I went up to the bar in the restaurant to pay and the room was $118 for Saturday night for two adults and... More

We stayed in the manor house. The house is great and has everything you may need during your stay. People are extremely friendly and will make sure you have a great stay. The house was clean and the decoration is also nice. Location is very nice as well and close to hiking trails. The only thing one may complain is... More

We rented the entire facility for a weekend family reunion October 28 - 30. The staff was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was good. We will definitely be back for another visit.

There are times when you want to get away from the modern, busy, crowded hotels around resorts. This place was just right for our day trip and to spend the night in a beautiful setting. There is just something nastalgic about spending time in an old landmark. This place was buit in 1937 and is a very convenient location, yet... More

I just stayed at this facility on October 9th, 2011. I scanned the website and other reviews before booking my stay. First off when I called to make reservations I spoke with David who was extremely nice and very friendly to chat with. We stayed in room # 1, I believe, which is a King room. The rooms have a... It was a very clean and quite place to stay. My wife and I would go back again. Well worth the cost of the the room (#4) and staff could not have been better. There is a resterunt there and one across the road.My wife and I both smoke that was the only thing we did not like (NO SMOKING... More

At the end of the day, and after being on the parkway for about half a day, we were looking for a place to stay for the night. This lodge offered beautiful landscaping and rustic detailing but with modern finishes and amenities... We stayed in a double queen room in the lodge. No cell service or a/c, but that is... More

The Linville Falls Lodge and Cottages was an excellent place to stay. We stayed in the lodge portion, but the cottages looked outstanding. The room was quaint and sufficient. King size bed and TV with satellite was more than enough. You would be hard pressed to find a more peaceful setting. Amazing landscaping, great décor and very personable staff. We... More

We stayed at the Linville Falls Lodge & Cottages because it is close to our daughter's home. It was July and the hottest days of the year thus far for them. Rooms are not air conditioned, but with cross-ventilation from the two windows and a ceiling fan, it was not unpleasant at all. The rooms and bathrooms are well maintained... More
