Bluffs Lodge is probably my favorite place to stay. I love the view. I love the peace and quiet of sitting on the back porch and playing classical guitar; watching the wildlife come out in the evening. My wife and I love walking the trails, sitting by the fireplace at night, meeting people from other places who come to see... More

My husband and I love, love, love this place. It's like going back in time. The food is good and the place is very unique to say the least. It's a long drive for us but we try to go a couple times a year. It really is like being in a time warp or the twilight zone. The staff... More

My husband and I and his college buddy rode our bicycles on the Blue Ridge Parkway and our starting and ending point was the Bluffs Lodge. Nothing fancy (and no A/C) but a beautiful view, with wildlife and bird viewing. Plenty of hiking trails. Very friendly atmosphere. The restaurant across the street closes too early, but the food was decent.... More

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Bluffs Lodge this past weekend. I had stayed at Bluffs Lodge before with my family, but I didn't remember it much. This past weekend, however, I will remember for a while. If at all possible get a room with a mountain view, otherwise, it's kind of pointless. Book WAY in advance, especially in... More

Things aren't quite what the website leads you to believe... Suffice it to say we are finished staying at Forever Resorts. The facility is good but not great. We had a single queen and had plenty of room. You'd expect a lot more for the price. But I suppose you are paying for the view. Next time we'll go to... More

We had just one night to enjoy the lodge. The view is wonderful. We sat and watched the deer come out in the evening. We sat by the fireplace on the terrace which was so nice with the temps going down into the 50's, yes, the 50's in June. The lodge itself is pretty rustic. Don't stay here for a... More

Plan ahead for fall leaf display. Don't forget the lodge closes at the end of Oct and we have been in snowfall at that time. Ask for an upstairs room that overlooks the meadow and the distant hill you might want to climb. Deer & wild turkeys are in early morning and at dusk in the meadow. Please consider going... More

We plan a trip to Bluffs Lodge at least once every year. This year we stayed for 3 glorious nights and it was perfect as always! The view is to die for and just being in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains is wonderful. We ride our motorcycle each year to Bluffs Lodge as the Blue Ridge Parkway is the best... More

The Bluffs Lodge is a wonderful place to stay on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The setting is terrific, with beautiful meadows, surrounded by hills and mountains. The room we had was quaint, spacious and clean--a great place to spend a quiet night. The restaurant was also a delight. A pleasant staff served us comfort food that was tasty and a... More

I can barely remember what the lodge was like because the restaurant stands out in my mind so much. Worst restaurant I've ever been to, I'd rather go to Waffle House. The staff was polite with the exception of the manager who, when we complained, acted like a word I'd rather not put in print. We waited for an hour... More
