The "inn" is an old stone house with a detached wing of motel type rooms. The common areas in the inn seemed old and worn out and included musty old indoor/outdoor style carpeting that needs to be replaced. Upon arrival there was no one to greet us - just a sign saying to pick up our room key and proceed... More

If you are looking for a quaint inn out of the way, full of charm and old character, this place is great. I stayed in the Pretty Plum room for the stone fireplace and romance. It was great. The fireplace was stacked with wood and ready to light when I got to the room. The bed was very comfortable. The... More

My husband and I just spent a few days at this inn and we enjoyed our stay for the most part. We stayed in the cozy Americana room, which was very clean with a comfortable bed and working fireplace with a big walk-in closet. The bathroom had a tub/shower combo and ventiliation was provided by a window that could open... More

I booked 4 rooms with at the Echo Inn for a family weekend celebrating my Fathers 70th Birthday. My family was counting on me to have a nice place for us to stay. We all enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful setting, but was very disappointed in the rooms. After arriving and checking in, we had to put all the window... More

My Husband and I along with another couple spent a few days at the Echo Inn and we loved it. Perfect mountain location, very close to Hendersonville and Brevard. The InnKeeper was a great guy and shared with us about the Inn and it's owners. It was a great place to spend time with our friends, talking and drinking coffee... More

Nothing to complain about here, but nothing exceptional either. It's WAY up a mountain and takes a good ten minutes to get into Hendersonville. It's not a great place to walk either, but a couple of miles further up the mountain is a very nice, small, park at Jump Off Rock, which has three trails and a fantastic (and easy... More

We first had the pleasure of staying at this tranquil and peaceful mouintaintop retreat the first night of our honeymoon June 2006 and now have come back for our 5 yr. anniversary. The sunrise from room 205 is not to be missed as is the sunset and spectacular view from nearby Jump Off Rock. We found our room to be... More

My husband and I decided to run away from home. We spent 2 nights at other places, but didn't get that this is "it" feeling until we arrived at Echo Mountain Inn. We only got to stay 2 nights but I must say they felt like a wonderful week of rest. Kelly greeted us and helped us find the "right"... More

We traveled to Hendersonville for the weekend to shoot a wedding at the Hendersonville Country Club. Although the guest block for the wedding was at a less expensive hotel, we opted to stay at Echo Mountain Inn to enjoy the atmosphere of a bed and breakfast. The hotel was close to Hendersonville Country Club and also close to Jump Off... More
