We stayed in a pretty and quiet room on the third floor. The bathroom was very spacious and unusually shaped, and had a comfortable window seat. The full breakfast was excellent. The owner was helpful. Of course the town is a jewel.

I was fortunate enough to stay at the Granville Queen last fall. A co-worker had made the reservations as we were on company business on the way to conduct an audit of a cold storage facility in Suffolk, Virginia. This was to be a one night stay as we made our way up the coast from S.C. My co-worker had...

The Granville is more than a B&B; I would describe it as a grand, completely charming, southern hotel. The Granville is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out; it is meticulously clean and the breakfasts are beyond amazing. Dora and Dave are lovely innkeepers and their high standards are evident and appreciated. Staying at the Granville is definitely one of the...

The house is historic and lovely. The town of Edenton was interesting and charming. The house is well located, close to the downtown shops and restaurants. The interior of the house is welcoming as is the exterior wrap around porch. Breakfast was delicious.
My family has been visiting Edenton since 1997 and when the inn we previously stayed in closed we tried several others. None can compare to the Granville Queen where I just came back from my fourth visit there. The innkeepers, Dora and Dave, are quiet but very friendly and always ready to chat and offer helpful information. The breakfasts are...

We loved our two night stay at the Granville Queen Inn. The rooms are truly beautiful, spacious, immaculate, and comfortable! The host and hostess were very accommodating as we arrived at 3 a.m. They saved breakfast for me the next morning. Could not have been nicer.
The front porch takes you back to another time when life was less and...

The inn is lovely. Location is great. Walking distance to downtown and waterfront. The inn keepers are not welcoming or helpful in any way. We were greeted with a stern "can I help you". We were made to feel like we interrupted him. Just gave us our room key, didn't show us around the inn, or tell us anything abut...

Oh wow, my first time visiting a B & B----definitely not my last. Such a beautiful inn and wonderful host and hostess. Our breakfast was wonderful-fresh fruit, yogurt and wonderful heart shaped waffles. Our bathroom was large with a whirlpool tub. We also had a wonderful small patio overlooking the street. We were awakened by the smell of bacon and...

Beautiful Victorian house in a lovely neighborhood, only about 2 blocks from the main downtown area for shopping and dining. Tastefully decorated, classic, not too frilly or overcrowded. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was unusually large for a B&B. Wonderful enclosed porch where you can have breakfast overlooking the garden. The 3-course breakfast was delicious and...

Uniquely American southern small town. Old historic buildings; warm southern charm. Great location. Will stay again. Great walking and biking. Excellent full breakfast; homemade biscuits; fresh fruits and more than you expect. Friendly staff.
