I rate the room 3.5 stars. Breakfast is not inclusive . Internet is free .AC/heater is good. Bathroom is decent . I would stay at this hotel again. more

I checked in in the middle of the night after abruptly checking out of another Durham hotel. What everyone has said about the AC unit is true: it's really loud. If you have a problem with a loud AC unit, just avoid this hotel. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel with good amenities. We stayed for one night, two parents and one young child. The room was immaculate, including the bathroom--not only clean, but in excellent working order and general upkeep (grout was clean and new, for example). I enjoyed my extended stay at the Hilton Durham, near Duke university. The staff was super courteous and helpful and they have a shuttle that drops you at the door to the Duke University Hospital. My room was very large and had a 37" flat screen TV. I used the workout facility and enjoyed the individual tv's on each machine.... more
