Stay one night on the way to the beach. Had a one bedroom suite with two queen beds and sofa bed for 2 adults and 4 children. A little tight but still very comfortable. The beds were awesome. This property is a good location for access to Research Triangle Park, but is a 10-15 minute drive to a decent dinner, fun outing, etc. It is a very typical Homewood Suites with everything you would expect: large and clean room, good breakfast, free internet, free parking. Call the hotel to make your reservation and ask for the Cree rate. Very nice property with 2 elevators so a high floor is okay, but the elevators smell pretty bad.
