This is a fairly standard chain hotel which until recently was a Hilton but has now been rebranded as a Doubletree. This hotel was converted to a Doubletree from a Hilton and is Inconsistent with Hilton quality. Desk staff very rude and uninformed had limited knowledge as to the Hilton Honors program and how to administer. We were informed at check out that WIFI was not included with room. Add the WIFI cost to room rate and quickly the value declines.

Exceptional staff! Friendly, welcoming, competent staff made stay a great experience. Nice furnishings and layout, extremely comfortable rooms, and lovely balcony overlooking pool all combined to make it a very pleasant stay. Highly recommend for relaxing atmosphere and proximity to airport and area attractions, without being too close to airport.

I was in Durham for business. THe hotel met and exceeded all I expected. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was ready when I arrived and was seated immediately. The food was good and the staff was prompt.
