My wife and I had a very nice time staying at Carol's Garden Inn. The first night, we arrived later than expected (around 9 PM) and Carol herself was waiting to greet us. The Inn is warm, welcoming, and feels very authentic and homey. We visited the week before Christmas, so the house (interior and exterior) was completely decked out... More

Rented Carol's Garden Inn for our wedding. The wedding party stayed at the inn Friday and Saturday night and held the wedding there on Saturday. We couldn't have had a more perfect weekend! We recommend Carol's for a large event like ours for just for a quick "getaway". Thank you Carol and Steve! It was a wonderful experience!!!! More

Carol and Steve took great care of me and the wedding party this past weekend. The grounds are beautiful, quiet and convenient to many places in Durham, NC. More

When you arrive at Carols Garden Inn, you are greeted by Carol herself and escorted into a beautiful setting filled with homey touches everywhere. Family photos on the walls, quaint decor and the warmth of a hostess that makes you feel like family. The propert behind the house is immaculate, well manicured, and the perfect spot for a wedding, which... More

We had 6 family members traveling to the area for a family reunion. We searched hotels and B&B's for rates and convenience. We are very pleased to have booked and stayed at Carol's Garden Inn. As a group of six, we booked all 3 of the rooms. They were all well appointed, spacious and appropriate for the B&B experience. The... More

I have stayed at Carol's Garden Inn twice now, over a few years time, and have been delighted both times. It is pure hospitality, but also includes a delicious breakfast, a comfortable room, generous amenities such as snacks and drinks, and the most beautiful backyard you can imagine. This includes two small but lovely ponds, chairs for relaxing or meditating,... More

Celebrated an anniversary here for one night and left the babies behind with grandma. We were the only guests, and Carol offered to serve us breakfast at a time that suited us. The ambience of the Inn is nice, though the nearby area is more of a business park/industrial park type area. However, it's a nice, close drive from downtown... More

My partner and I recently stayed a couple of nights at the Inn, and our only regret was that we came too early to see the beautiful garden in full bloom. Carol is great hostess, not to mention a wonderful chef, who really knows how to make someone at home. I will be staying here during every visit to Durham. More

I personally actually did not stay at Carol’s - our daughter was married in the gardens associated with the Inn. Daughter, fiancée/husband and 2 wedding party members stayed there. What a wonderful experience we all had. We had the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner and wedding/reception in the gardens over a two night period May 1 & 2, 2009. Carol and husband... More
