We requested two beds for our stay as we are one very restless sleeper and one very light sleeper. We're assured for the price of 660 for 3 nights we would have a two room suite with two beds. Upon arrival we are Told there are no rooms with 2 beds but we will have a pull out couch and... More

The King's Daughters Inn is pretty perfect--large, airy, and distinct rooms; a delicious breakfast; and walking distance to lots of restaurants. The Inn was refurbished with attention to history and environmental optimization. It's beautiful--lots of windows, gorgeous furniture, pretty gardens. And the food was great--standard b&b options plus a daily special (baked berry french toast and a veggie omelet while... More

My wife and I stayed one night at The King's Daughters Inn last weekend as we had tickets to see Wicked at DPAC. What a beautiful B&B! Our room was beautifully decorated. The large TV also served as the monitor for an Apple computer with wireless keyboard. We used the WiFi throughout the premises. The Queen bed in our room... More

Very cute inn. Rooms are smallish but very nicely decorated. Breakfast is great. however a few issues: 1) hot/cold water mixture in shower highly unpredictable/painful. we commented to front desk and issue was supposedly fixed but problem continued to occur through rest of our 2 day stay. 2) patio/ramp extremely slippery when it rains. needs to be thoroughly cleaned or... Very nice B&B in downtown Durham, close to Brightleaf Square. Clean, comfortable rooms (we had a suite). Great cooked breakfast and turndown service, with Port and chocolates no less! Thouroghly reccommend it.

My husband and I traveled to Durham to visit with relatives and stayed at the inn for a couple of days. The rooms were so beautifully decorated, so different than an average hotel or other B&B we have stayed in before. The tea and homemade cookies and scones were a treat and we found the innkeepers very knowledgeable about everything... More

I had some business at Duke and stayed at the Inn for three nights. Colin welcomed me at 1am (delayed flight), gave me a wonderful room and made me feel at home right from the start. The room was actually a suite: very clean, silent and comfortable. The common areas are ideal to relax, read, talk to friends and colleagues.... More

I commute weekly to Duke during the academic year and this inn is a second home -- elegant, friendly, unique but familiar. Colin and Deanna are premier innkeepers. They give the KDI its special combination of warm tradition and relaxed modern flair. Many of the rooms are exquisite and all seem lovely. Don't skip breakfast! I've come for work but... More

My husband and I had a function at Duke to attend. We were excited to stay at this inn based on photos. We arrived and Colini(inkeeper at the desk seemed to be on a mission to say the least he could to us along with being just rude. First he tried to give us the wrong room that was over... More

I want to sincerely apologize for my actions and your experience at the Inn. I don't offer it as an excuse, but only an explanation - I had just gotten word last fall that my grandmother had passed away and I was trying to schedule staff so that I could take time to fly to Florida for the funeral. It... More

We absolutely love this place! It was our third stay at the Inn and all we can say is that it has been consistently great! We have stayed in different rooms every time and they are always lovely decorated and very well maintained. Looking forward for our next visit! If I was to make one suggestion: wish you had real...
