Great price, quiet and nice folks. Not as clean as I like but manageable. I find it hard to sleep with small AC units in the room - they're loud and dry the air out like crazy. Having a cooked to order breakfast made up for that!

Second time staying at this hotel and very pleased. Very convenient to I-40, nice clean rooms. Very good breakfast included. A step up from the usual complementary breakfast because they have cook to order omeletttes. Very good coffee too. The price is very competitive as well. For years I've stayed at La Quinta when ever possible and prior to this their facility at Greenville/Haywood South Carolina was by far the best.They were just trumped by Hickory/Conover,NC.Terrific location,fabulous staff,their traditionally great beds,clean,quiet and many many good restaurants within a one and half mile radius(Ruby Tuesday,Red Lobster,Carrabba's,Olive Garden,Applebee's,etc).Also close to the Hickory Motor Speedway as well as I-40,Baker's... I stayed at La Quinta with friends for the 2013 Hickory Hops Brew Festival. The entire experience was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The manager, Kevin even went above and beyond to provide free shuttle service to and from the festival. Before check out the next morning we enjoyed a great "full" breakfast. I recommend this... “Nice room and stay”

Overnighted with spouse and dog. Clean large room, very friendly staff, comfortable bed. Could ask for nothing more. Staff was very pet friendly and extremely accommodating. Will stay in LaQuinta again whenever on the road.
