We stayed here for just one night passing through for a quick visit to Chimney Rock park. The motel is right in town within a very short distance from many shops and restaurants. Owners are very Friendly and make you feel so welcome. The rooms we stayed in were spotless!!! This is the only place we will stay at from now on! It feels like home!

My suggestion is that you do not consider this "motel" on any level, but especially if you have children. We absolutely love the Valley Court Motel, we stayed there three times last year and plan on making our way up again this year. Can't recommend this property unless the Owner initiates some significant changes. Good: Right on the river and great views from your private balcony. I appreciate your good wishes for the future of the motel. We are closing till Mar.2012 to continue to do renovations to the property.Actually a lot has been done to the rooms and property since we took it back but you did not have that to compare too. We stayed in room 12 for three days and my family had a great time. We stayed here like 10 years ago and it is very different now. Everything is now cleared out around the river.
