it is a older motel,but the owner was very nice and rooms was very clean,and the price was good too.i will be staying there again when i go to cherokee,and i suggest you stay there too. More

I loved saving money and staying at a great hotel. My kids loved being able to view the mountains from the window in our room. We also found it very convenient that they had a fridge and a microwave in the room. I have been going to the Pocahontas motel for three years now and will continue to go. My... More

My wife and I went to Cherokee, NC and we stayed at the Pocahontas Motel. It gave me the same feeling back when I was a child and my grandfather took my brother and I to Cherokee. When I go back to Cherokee I will definetly stay at the Pocahontas because of the hospitality, cleanliness and affordability. Kudos to Pocahontas... More

First impression is that of an older, out-dated motel from the 60's. Yes, it IS an older motel, but the owner goes out of his way to ensure the rooms are extremely clean, and up-to-date. We completely enjoyed our stay, and are planning to return for a second visit soon. More
