The Dunhill was clean and well-furnished, with attractively laid-out rooms and an elegant foyer. The neighbourhood was quiet and easily walkable. Staff were friendly, and the breakfasts were top notch... what a menu! More

We spent the night after attending my wife's annual corporate dinner at the McNinch House restaurant (great place). A previous stay several years ago was a disaster because of a nonfunctioning bath tub water valve so my expectations were not high. We arrived and found the staff extremely pleasant and willing to help. This is a small historic hotel in... More

Our son and his lovely wife were married at the Dunhill Hotel in December, and everyone loved the accommodations, the location in uptown Charlotte, and the staff's attention to detail. The food in the hotel's Harvest Moon Grill was very fresh and innovative, and they did an outstanding job for the reception. In addition, the lobby bar/lounge was perfect for... More

We experienced wonderful service from the staff. Everyone was so helpful. The room was a little small, (which is expected from a historic hotel) but very clean and nicely decorated. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to the downtown hot spots. We really enjoyed our stay here and we would love to return. I highly recommend this... More

From Pete the bartender to Pete at the front desk, the staff rocks. The location is great and the rooms are comfortable well cleaned. I'd highly recommend the Dunhill hotel. Many celebs including Bonnie Raitt, James Worthy, Paul McCartney and Alycia Keys have stayed here too. More

I stay in this hotel three weeks a month for business. The staff is friendly and helpful, and genuinely seems to enjoy being here and providing the best service. Super comfy beds, large desks, complimentary beverages in the mini-fridge, transportation to nearby locations - all the little extras make this the best value in Charlotte. And the Harvest Moon Grille... More

This quaint luxury hotel nestled in the heart of the Queen's City uptown area is a pleasant get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The rooms are comfortably welcoming and well appointed. In your room is a refrigerator stocked with complimentary water and soda awaiting your arrival. The staff is very accommodating and full of Southern charm.... More

The Dunhill is my choice when I stay in Charlotte. Close to walk to just about everything (museums, restaurants, performances), it has a European feel with staff who aren't merely professional, they really want your stay to be the best in this wonderful city. If for some reason you don't or can't make reservations there, at least eat at their... More

What a great find! Room was inviting and comfortably quiet, price is right, staff is unbelievably accommodating & friendly, Harvest Moon is already gaining a "foodie" reputation, Pete IS a jewel and the location is ideal. We'll be back again and again and again. More

What a great place in the heart of downtown Charlotte ! Right in the midst of the artsy downtown area; we were 1/2 block from the Blumenthal Center where we saw a play. BEST hotel staff service I've ever experienced. Friendly, helpful and sincere. The bartender Pete is a JEWEL ! Drinks and food were marvelous. Both dinner and breakfast... More
