I used Expedia to book a hotel in Charlotte. From their website, it looked pretty good and had a really great price. Yet again, you get what you pay for! The Center City Inn was not was I was expecting at all.... the accomodations were less that acceptable; there wasn't even a washcloth in the bathroom to use! Paint was chipping and peeling on the walls, the toilet was an industrial one that you have to push with your foot to flush, the heat was either on full blast or off, and being a young woman, alone on a trip, I personally did not feel safe staying there and slept only 1 of my 2 nights in Charlotte there... Expedia finally agreed to give mymoney back for the night I didn't stay there, after I explained why. I definately would reccomend to stay away from Center City Inn in Charlotte. more
