My wife and I stayed at the Lovill House from 3/15/13-3/17/13 and it was awesome! We celebrated my wife's birthday and enjoyed the company of some other great guests. The breakfasts were great and the Linville room was perfect. Also, make sure to take the time to meet Heidi the dog...she is something special!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lovill House Inn this past January! Scott and Anne were very gracious and attentive hosts. Breakfast was delicious and the grounds are just beautiful. We stayed in the Bristol Room downstairs, complete with fireplace, king-size bed, sofa-seating area and bathroom. The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in the downstairs bedroom which was pretty good sized and had a nice bed and working fireplace. The hosts are attentive and the breakfast was excellent and very high quality. Seating is family style. There is a stocked refrigerator with easy guest access and no added charge which was very nice.

The Lovill House Inn is a great property in a great location in Boone, NC. Gracious innkeepers (although a little bit anal about seating for breakfast) who are good company, good conversationalists and excellent historians and sources of information about the area. The Farmhouse and grounds were beautiful and well kept. The room was ok ...on the small side. The location is perfect for town. The Inn keepers are too rigid , borderline rude if sit at the wrong spot , by accident of course .... Also , I felt like at guest at their home , not a paying customer .... More

Our stay at Lovill House made an outstanding weekend most excellent! We loved the Inn, the grounds are stunning, and Scott and Anne are wonderfully gracious hosts. Our son is applying to App State next year. We have definitely found where we'll stay on every visit!
