We only stayed there for one night on the way from Asheville, NC to Virginia. It was very suitable for the one night we were there. They had a nice happy hour with some drinks available and a decent breakfast. I would say that if you are traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway and want a place to stay, consider The... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. I came by myself with my dog (Inn is pet-friendly) over Christmas and loved it! The atmosphere is so cozy, hardwood floors, stone accents, equine decor in the rooms. Bathroom had beautiful tile and granite.. very classy. And the bed was so comfy! Also a back deck with a large grassy area for your... More

The tiny room was overpriced (approx. $200/night) and was only saved by our outdoor hot tub. We did not get any housekeeping during our stay for the two nights we were there. They said they were short staffed and needed to attend to the new check in firsts. The room also needed maintenance, some paint touch-ups on the walls etc.... More

My boyfriend and I were pleased with the value of the place. The king size room was spacious for us-- great, comfy bed! The bathroom was very nice- a tad small, but I've seen worse (NYC). The breakfast was just thawed Otis Spunkmeyer muffins and burnt coffee- not too pleasing-- venture to Melanie's in Boone for a fabulous breakfast! Would... More

My boyfriend and I took a mini vacation up to the blowing rock area to get out of town and enjoy some R&R. After a day full of driving and hiking around we were exhausted and ready to find a place to stay the night. We both got on our phones and starting searching. I came across the Village Inn... More

The rooms are rustic with each having a nice deck with Adirondack chairs and a small table. Despite being located just off the road, it's very peaceful and not overwhelmingly loud. The staff is very friendly and offers suggestions on things to do in the area. My husband and I love the wine/cheese reception from 5-6:00 each day. The lodge... More

I booked a 2-night stay at Village Inn (Sat & Sun) using hotels.com knowing this would be a busy holiday weekend for foliage sightseers in the NC mountains. Upon arrival, the motel said that they never received our confirmation, despite the fact that I had it in writing and had received several confirmation email from hotels.com. The motel had zero... This is quite possibly the best place to go for a very relaxed stay where the people are the nicest and the scenery is awesome. My husband and I have stayed here for several visits and will continue to stay there. Within wallking distance to downtown Blowing Rock and all the wonderful shops and restaurants on Main Street. My wife and I have been visiting Blowing Rock in October for the past twenty years and we love the area. We had mostly stayed at the Hillwinds Inn, but their rooms have not been well maintained so this year we stayed at the Village Inn. The rooms are smaller at the Village Inn and almost too small to be... More

The little motor inn that did transform itself into a great little inn. Fantastic location, within walking distance to downtown Blowing Rock and more. We stayed in a room without a hot tub, staff says #114 is the best room there( has a hot tub). Our room had a great king sized bed, adequate furnishings, mini fridge, and coffee maker.... More
