Our room was facing the pool, although apparently the pool is only seasonal since it was closed this past December. Room was very clean and spacious. Location was very good, close and convenient to everything. We ate breakfast every morning at the hotel and it was definitely worth the $7 for the buffet.

Great staff. Extremely accommodating to our entire family. Our son has asthma and we actually had to move rooms twice. Every time, the staff helped us out every step of the way. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Banner Elk close to Sugar mountain. We are definitely staying there again!

Our stay was december 2011. We were promised wireless internet which didn't work. Plus, at $130 the night WITHOUT breakfast in such place we felt that it was way too pricey. There are far better and newer hotels in Boone.

The Banner Elk Best Western is one in which I have stayed a number of times over the years while working in Boone, NC. The motel is comfortable and cozy. Drinks and dinner were good. Location is beautiful and close to attractions.

All rooms have outside entrance doors which make for a noisey stay and VERY THIN WALLS, may hear things you don't care to hear, especially if you are traveling with children. Front desk was very nice and the breakfast was good. Overall, okay for a one or two night stay.
