We spent the weekend at the Turnpike House Bed and Breakfast and had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful, the grounds are breathtaking and the food and hospitality are first rate. Our Hosts were a very genuine couple who went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed. more

One of the things that makes 1902 Turnpike house so special is Cindy and Paul remember all the little details that make our stay special for us including having our favorite homemade cookies warm on our arrival. Cindy is the heart of the inn and is always able to recommend something new that we would enjoy. Chef Paul's breakfasts are... more

This has to be the best b&b I've ever stayed in, and being a travel industry employee, I have a lot of experience! The hospitality is outstanding, the grounds and rooms are cozy, comfortable, and beautifully appointed, and the breakfast is simply amazing! I can't imagine better, and can't recommend it highly enough! more

I can,t say enough about this charming B&B! I,ve been 8 times and plan on many more. It,s where I,ve taken family and friends so they can experience the "heart"of Southern hospitality. The rooms are lovely (I,ve stayed in 6of them) with great attention to all the "little things" that make you feel comfortable and pampered. My favorite place is... more

I love to travel and I have stayed in B&Bs from Washington State to Louisiana- this one is by far the best! The first time I visited I was by myself. It can be a little uncomfortable staying in a B&B as a young single female, but Paul and Cindy made me feel so at home and I brought my... more

A beautiful B&B nestled in the trees with a stream flowing across the stree. Paul and Cindy definitely have a gift with their personal service and their delectible breakfasts. Not to mention the to-die-for chocolate chip cookies made available in the dining room. The House is beautifully decorated with antiques. Sitting on the wrap-around porch is peaceful and enchanting. Cindy and Paul are such hospitable hosts that desire to make your stay a memorable one. They are there to serve you, tell you what's available in the area, help out if you have questions, or just sit and chat. The rooms are very pretty and quaint. The atmosphere is one of peace and relaxation. The food is some of... more

When I travel to New York, I stay at The Layayette. ( 38 E fourth) When I come south to Bristol, I always stay Turnpike House. Cindy and Paul treat us like family. We are welcome just like The Penninsula when I travel. The food for breakfast is smart and exciting. The rooms are clean and decorated with good taste.... more
