This B&B is several cuts above the norm. What a lovely house and sumptuous breakfast with French flair! Katherine and John are very interesting, vivacious hosts and their house is beautiful and also very well located just moments from downtown Woodstock. Highly recommended. Passes the critical test of "would I return?" with flying colors.

Our nearby home was going through renovation, so I booked a night here to relax and sleep in after a day of contractor/construction details. Delightful! John and Katherine are wonderful hosts, and their home is beautifully decorated with local Woodstock art and history. Katherine (from France) prepared a wonderful breakfast of home made quiche, bread, fruits, etc.

Deforest is an immaculate, high-end BnB that is run by the wonderful John and Catherine. The attention to detail is worthy of a (very good) five star hotel. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. We spent one night at DeForest House while visiting Bethel Woods and Woodstock. We were warmly welcomed by John & Catherine. The Moroccan Room was beautiful and romantic.
