Lodge shows signs of 70 years of wear, BUT the service and Christmas theme shows more than offsets this. Treated with respect and courtesy for entire three days of stay. We didn't stay at the Hotel, we just stopped for Breakfast. The Hotel does look run-down on the outside. But the Diningroom was open for breakfast - and I must say it was one of the Best breakfast places in the entire Lake Placid area! They have real home made bread!
