My girlfriend and I took the trip out to the Dune Deck based on recommendations from friends. We really weren't sure what to expect, as we had never stayed out in the Hamptons prior. As "walk-ins" we were greeted by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable front desk attendant who showed us a variety of rooms. Some were a bit more...

This place was a dump, for 329.00 per night plus tax. It was worth about 39.00.
Check in was no earlier than 3pm and both the beach and pool closed at 5pm. This was in mid August when it stays light until 9:00 pm !!

If you want a clean place on the ocean close to NYC this is it! Many improvements over last year make this even better than ever. Hope they don't make too many more improvements or it will always be sold out. Enjoy it before everyone else finds out!

I read a ton of the reviews, and feel it is necessary to speak to some of the negative things I read. I will give it to you straight. This hotel is not the Ritz Carlton. It is a BEACH resort. My room was reminiscent of many years having beach share houses in Fire Island. The room didn't smell musty...

Joanne suggested that our families take the rooms around the pool and near the firepit. This was a great suggestion since we were able to sit out at night on the sofas surrounding the firepit and not be bothered by bugs. The rooms were decent; all had small refrigerators which was helpful. Some of them had microwaves. Coffee makers were...

We needed a room for a wedding were attending in the Hamptons and the Dune Deck was the cheaper of the two options suggested by the bride. It was still $300 a night for our room, which faced the street. Now, I know there is a premium to stay in the Hamptons, but you would hope that the price would...
