The lodge is perfectly located to visit the Margaret River or to go to the beach just 5 Km away. It's located in a splendid and very relaxing park where you can have a walk around the pond. You can also decide to relax around the (small) pool which is very appreciated when the temperature is over 30 degrees as... More

...Cape Lodge is probably our favourite place to stay in WA for a special occasion! It provides quality service and amenities in a magical bush/garden/lake setting. The birds are a bonus! The staff are very welcoming to returning guests. We stayed in an upstairs garden suite and it was perfect for a wedding anniversay getaway! Spacious, modern and comfortable. We... More

Stayed at the Lodge on a Wotif Mystery Special. Utterly peaceful, the utmost in class, restaurant was in my 10 ten EVER!!! Magically, they even upgraded us upon arrival as it was not a peak time. We love Yallingup and the Cape Lodge is the best of several we have stayed at! More

We booked here for a special meal whilst visiting Yallingup. The restaurant sits serenely overlooking the lake. It was delightful. Beautifully prepared food was served faultlessly. More

Cape Lodge is an experience not to be missed. From the check in process to, the house made treats in your room upon arrival, the genuine care and attention of every member of staff we encountered, truly world class food by Chef Tony, impeccable grounds, the hands on approach of the General Manager, Drew, this resort leaves you wanting for... We had a wonderful time at the south western wine region of Australia. This resort has a vineyard attached and their wine is exceptional. We had a suite in the main lodge that has a bed room, living room and two full bathrooms; very large just for two people. The chef is exceptional, the tasting menu at dinner is a... More

Cape lodge was by far the best hotel we stayed in during our 3 weeks in Australia. The reception staff were very helpful and arranged a wine tasting trip for us and made suggestions of other places to visit in the area. The restaurant was fantastic, I am a vegetarian and the first night I arrived there was nothing on... More

Cape Lodge has lovely grounds: the planting and setting are a dream. There are also some individual staff who are a delight. Rooms are spacious and meet the grade e.g. an iron/ironing board, a hairdryer, a TV, a minibar, bedside lights, a vanity mirror and so on. However, something is missing, and this 'missing something' is widespread. Without giving opinion,... More

Thank you for your comments regarding your recent visit to Cape Lodge and needless to say we were very upset that your experience at Cape Lodge was far from our usual standard. We are horrified that you found some of our staff to be unhappy and unhelpful as we genuinely strive to deliver exceptional customer service and are exceedingly proud... More

Cape Lodge exceeded our high expectations. The restaurant (whose chef is something of a superstar in the Margaret River region) was nothing short of superb, with creative yet crowd-pleasingly pitch-perfect fare. Even cooked breakfasts became a gourmet experience. Cape Lodge's staff defied the West Australian trend for poor service. For example, three separate staff members made the point of telling... More

We have just returned after spending 3 nights at Cape Lodge. From arrival to departure, nothing could be faulted. Our room was amazing, bed very comfortable, and all the little touches made it very special. Gourmet chocolates, little jugs of fresh milk, luxury toiletries, rain water, very lovely. Our room was very quiet, and you almost felt like you were... More
