The tranquility and beauty of the resort were enhanced by the warm welcome, superb service. The food was superb and the service was excellent.. The rooms are large, very comfortable and tastefully finished. The large bathroom had a great spa bath and the heated tiles were a great benefit on cold morningsThe perfect place to relax and to reat yourself.

Beautiful and relaxing. Large room with large bathroom (and heated tiles, great for winter!!!). Food was the best ever - not too large in serving size, just enough to want more. The afternoon tea was lovely on arrival as was the wood fire. Very quiet which was perfect when living in a noisy city. Would love to be back one... More

My husband and I were so impressed with Cape Lodge. From the moment we arrived until the time we left we were treated as one of the family but yet felt spoiled rotten. Out room was amazing and had all the comforts of home. We were treated to a fabulous in room candle light dinner with the most amazing food... More

What a wonderful place to stay! Probably suited to the older more conservative holiday goer who likes to read books, enjoy a tea & muffin in front of the fire. The rooms are extemely comfortable and food & service in the restaurant are exceptional. I would highly recommend this lodge to the discerning traveller.

I have stayed at this property now on five occasions, always at Christmas time. Why do I keep coming back? Simply because it is the best. The accommodations are understated but extremely comfortable. The park is a delight - very well maintained, quiet, beautiful gardens and shrubs, birds, and an excellent vantage point to view the stars at night. The... More

We are seasoned travellers (regularly staying at other hotels branded 'Small Luxury Hotels of the World') and love food & wine destinations, so our stay at Cape Lodge was much anticipated. Service levels are world class at Cape Lodge. We were warmly welcomed despite arriving 3 hours before check-in and our room was made available to us. There are lots... More

We stayed at Cape Lodge over Easter on the recommendation of many other friends. We booked a Forrest Spa Suite and were offered a very good rate as we were staying for a lengthy period. While there was nothing wrong with the room, and it was certainly very spacious and clean, it lacked the touches that make a boutique hotel... More

Thank you for your comments regarding your recent visit to Cape Lodge. Having recently completed the refurbishment of our Garden View and Superior Spa Suites I am pleased to say we are currently in the redesign process for the updating of the Forest Spa Suites which will be occurring within the next few months with a fresh new feel. Kind... More

I am a seasoned traveller, both for business and pleasure; please see my profile to put this review into perspective. My wife and I stayed at the Cape Lodge on our second trip into the Margaret River Wine region, after we had not managed to stay there the first time and had only driven past. We got attracted to it... More

This is a carefully thought out combination of very well appointed rooms in beautiful surrounds with privacy. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant provides a high quality experience with local produce carefully crafted and thoughful staff who provide great service. The location also provides a great bolt hole for exploring all that Margaret River has to offer; however be warned... More

We used Cape Lodge as a one night filler as we were swapping between houses. We looked forward to this as a luxury treat but the moment we arrived we were more than a bit stunned. Our room – a Forest Suite – is super ordinary. Externally the building is very bulk standard council house architecture - also tired and... More
