We stayed in a double room with shared facilities. They have a tv area and a sitting area next to the fireplace. When we were staying wifi was free and fast. The kitchen is fine. Location of the hostel is good. The only downside is the showers and toilets, there aren't many, 2 or 3 for the whole hostel.

My wife and I stayed at the Walopole Lodge on a clear but chilly weekend. We stayed in a double on-suite room, which are located away from the hostel area. Stayed one night on route to Albany. Good size en-suite room for value price $85. Backpacking places not normally my thing but would stay here again, Woman running the place is very friendly and will help with any queries you have. Recommended for backpackers and other travellers
