This place is awful! Carpets in rooms are filthy, blankets are stained, the pool is filthy and unusable. But, more disturbing to me than being ripped off for shoddy accomodation was the fact that this place has bird cages holding upto ten parrots/tropical birds who appear to live in squalid conditions and have no opportunity to fly. This is the worst accommodation we have stayed during our 19 days trip in WA. The room cost us A$135 per night, yet the sofa/bed/comforters are all sticky and dirty. Bay Lodge: http://www.baylodge.info/ This place was awful. There were stains on the sheets and comforters. There was a layer of dirt and grime on everything in the room.
