A last minute choice and a quick one night stop over on a tour of Galicia. Price was relatively cheap and location very central. The problem with a central location and overlooking the square is the noise. We stayed on a Sunday night and would have expected it to be relatively quiet but this was not to be the case.... More

This is a one-star hotel, so no glitz, but the room was clean, spacious enough, and comfortable, the restaurant excellent, the people really, really nice --as friendly and helpful as could be (despite our limited Spanish)-- and the location lovely: in the old town between two small partly arcaded plazas with no motorized traffic. We enjoyed our two-night stay immensely.

Found this hotel through an old volume of Lonely Planet. It has been completely modernised and offers great value for money. We had a spacious modern bathroom and a spacious well furnished bedroom, with a/c and double glazing, polished wood floor..... all for €48 per night.
