Le Chateau de Reignac is a fabulous hotel. I have never been to a place that is so calming, so quiet and so relaxing. A visually beautiful hotel in an old world sense, with modern amenities, located in a small town in the French countryside. It is the perfect place to take yourself or better yet to be taken to... We stayed for two nights at Le Chateau de Reignac on the last two days of our visit to the Loire Valley. I have never written a negative review on tripadvisor and if a hotel has mainly good reviews I take the odd poor review with a pinch of salt, which I did with this place when I read the... More

My first review on Trip Advisor but this place is worth it! My wife and I held our wedding ceremony at the Chateau in September 2011, and, looking back, there isn't a single thing I would change about the day (and that includes the photographer not turning up!) everything about it exceeded my expectations. First of all the Chateau itself... More

Our daughter loved her recent wedding at the Chateau. Pre-wedding barbeque was fun. The service in the chapel was beautiful, and Priest recommended by Chateau delightful. We planned canapes and fairy lights outside after BUT cancelled because it might rain, so all crowded in upstairs. Wedding dinner was excellent, but arrangements for children were a disaster because of "No food... More

This chateau is a hidden gem - lovely grounds, well kept rooms, attentive staff, located in a quaint town in the Loire Valley. It's run like a B&B, but feels like a 5-star hotel. I wouldn't hesitate recommending it if you're after something special, but would add a word of warning - the food is very average. Grab dinner elsewhere... More

My sister, niece and I visited in at the end of May. The roses were in full bloom and the grounds simply lovely. We dined each night on delightful fresh food from the local markets. The duck was bliss. The wines were perfect. I don't understand the reviewer from July. The chateau is in perfect shape - not shabby- And... More

Each year I take my small group "Tours for Women' to France. Since finding this wonderful chateau 4 years ago,I return each year with the tour. My clients love it. We are treated as friends. The food is good value and abundant, each room is decorated in a different theme, the village is tiny but interesting, the chateau's park has... More

Very friendly staff, nice rooms, historic, out of town location. But..dinner was very ordinary - and no choice (but god wine), 7am churchbells a problem if you want to sleep. Price for half board was 50 euro over the top vs. booking accomodation, dinner and breakfast separately. More
