We found this chateau by chance, during our holiday in France. We arrived in the evening and were prepared to stay just one night. The furniture of the rooms is in fact not what you expect from a *** Hotel, which intensified our idea. The next day we changed our mind completely. We had slept very well in the calm... More

booking.com indicated that rooms were in the Chateau, turned out to be a subpar grotto in the former stables. Did not stay and desputing charge. No wireless except in the Chateau itself which costs 40 euros over the booking.com rate.

This Chateau and property use to be beautiful and had a wonderful story to it, till the government took it over to make it a summer camp a while back. It is now a hotel; decor, furniture and linen is horrible! It is out dated from the 70's. Feels like a one star hotel in an old chateau. Nothing historic... More

plus side fabulous grounds and setting which we could see through the windows in the very spacious room. Staff helpful (after a restaurant nightmare they didn't charge us for the main course and when I talked to the front desk on checkout about it they took E25 off our bill- fair play). minus side dated rooms, awful foam bed, CARPET... We did not stay here, but I found no place to write a restaurant review. My husband, two daughters and I rode our bikes from a houseboat on the Burgundy Canal to this gorgeous chateau. We were looking in vain for some place to eat near our landing site. We did not expect to find this and were not dressed... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night in February. Arriving in the dark, we decided to stay as other hotels in the area were closed. This is a hotel from another era - and not a good era either. It may look grand from the outside, but inside the bedroom floor was covered in thin carpet tiles, the television... More

We booked a stay at this hotel from the outside pictures. What a mistake! It is rated three stars but didn't have a power point in the antiquated bathroom, a hairdryer was not supplied, no air conditioning and the room and its furnishings were very ordinary, to say the least. The dining room was very formal with expensive but very... More
