I had a wonderful few days at Kingfisher lodge last week. Rooms are simple and unpretentious but with all the creature comforts you would need - comfortable beds, nice hot showers and incredible views over the national park. The lodge also has a good restaurant serving delicious local food and a nice swimming pool that also enjoys the iamazing view.... More

Many of the rooms overlook the Queen Elizabeth National Park. And the views are fantastic. Quite a few of the rooms are huge; ours had two floors and could sleep four. The bedding feels cheap, typical Chinese blankets covering the beds. The garden, with swimming pool, is lovely and, partially, also delivers beautiful views of the park and the sunset.... More

Clean, very friendly staff, and a lovely view - but pretty overpriced (typical of areas close to parks) and probably actually a better price than you'd pay in any of the neighbouring properties. Stayed here for a visit to QE Park. Arrived just before dark to witness the amazing view some 250m above the savannah. Fabulous electric storms that night over the horizon. Rooms are basic and fine for a night unless you can get the great ones perched on the edge with the view. Nice pool. Food was quite limited and bland... More
