Stayed 4 nights in February. The view (especially when clear) is incomparable; there is nothing else to compare... the one more or less clear view of the Rwenzori Mountains across the Great Rift Valley... priceless! Found that the food was quite variable. The nights that had dinner buffet were not nearly as good food as the nights with menu-order; it... More

We can highly recommend this hotel for the view. The accommodation we had was two levels with the master bed and a single on the top floor and another single on the bottom floor with a nice shower and toilet area. We spent most of our time enjoying the view. We were able to watch some elephants through our binoculars.... More

I had a wonderful few days at Kingfisher lodge last week. Rooms are simple and unpretentious but with all the creature comforts you would need - comfortable beds, nice hot showers and incredible views over the national park. The lodge also has a good restaurant serving delicious local food and a nice swimming pool that also enjoys the iamazing view.... More

Stayed here 1 night prior to chimp tracking and was the most expensive place I stayed on entire 2 week trip and the second worst. Rooms are fine - small but large beds. My mosquito net had holes in it (what is the point then) and the bathroom was huge (curtains a bit small considering the bathroom can be viewed... More

Many of the rooms overlook the Queen Elizabeth National Park. And the views are fantastic. Quite a few of the rooms are huge; ours had two floors and could sleep four. The bedding feels cheap, typical Chinese blankets covering the beds. The garden, with swimming pool, is lovely and, partially, also delivers beautiful views of the park and the sunset.... More

We stayed one day at the Kingfisher Lodge and had amazing views over the QENP. We could see for miles around. The lodge had several huts and we had ours on a hill, where we had our own balcony with tables and chairs, bedroom with bed with a net, stairs that led down to the shower (hot showers) and toilet... Stayed here having read the previous reviews below, and I was pleasantly surprised with the stay. The rooms are lovely. I had one that overlooked the park and it has its own little patio/balcony area, the room was very comfortable (but small as someone described below), the bathrooms clean and with hot showers. The pool and gardens are lovely –... More

Clean, very friendly staff, and a lovely view - but pretty overpriced (typical of areas close to parks) and probably actually a better price than you'd pay in any of the neighbouring properties. Basic room, quite cramped, with no decent desk. I had a very noisy room with a pump just outside that seemed to run most of the time... More

Stayed here for a visit to QE Park. Arrived just before dark to witness the amazing view some 250m above the savannah. Fabulous electric storms that night over the horizon. Rooms are basic and fine for a night unless you can get the great ones perched on the edge with the view. Nice pool. Food was quite limited and bland... More
