We stayed in the Potter House (separate from the main house) and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and delicious, gourmet breakfast served by Rose. The decor in our suite was luxurious and the bedding, furniture and accessories were all modern and first rate. We chose this B&B over others in the Finger Lakes because we liked the privacy afforded in the... More

My husband and I stayed 1 night for our 7th anniversary weekend in November. We couldn't have picked a more perfect B&B. The location is fantatic with hiking and shopping close by as well as dinner at the infamous Hazlenut Kitchen. The B&B is on a lovely property, decorated with amazing antiques and is quiet and comfortable. The room was... More

Gothic Eves is an exceptionally well-run bed-and-breakfast. The hostess, Rose, is both friendly and professional. She also doesn't cut corners: The rooms are lovely and have extras such as comfy throws, gas fireplaces, really nice bathrobes, and access to board games and microwaves with hot chocolate and teas. Breakfast is delightful, all oganic and/or locally sourced foods prepared wonderfully and... More

We stayed two nights here in the Merlot room. The room is interesting as you have to walk through the bathroom in order to enter the room. It's an old house and uses the old style skeleton keys. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. There is a large window which overlooks the garden. The owner Rose... More

Just stayed there end of Sept. 2011. Rose does a great job and she is meticulous. Her attention to detail shows everywhere you turn. She makes a great breakfast. She is full of info for places to visit, eat and other things to do. While we were there, 2 other couples were there for their annual weekend which they have... More

We stayed in the Bordeaux room which is on the first floor of the main house. It is rather noisy as it faces the street front and side so there can be road noise especially from trucks. The beds were comfy but the bath needs a redo. Our friends stayed in the top floor in a newly remodeled room which... More

This Bed and Breakfast is really nice, as everyone says it is! Rose was extremely helpful in booking dinners and recommending walks and other things to do in the area. Room was cosy and lovely, breakfast to die for. The only real fault is that it's on quite a busy road, so it was a bit noisy and not quite... More

We have no words to describe how wonderful our time was at the Inn at the Gothic Eve’s. We spent four nights at the Cayuga Grande Suite during our honeymoon and we strongly recommend it. We spent some wonderful hours playing cards in the picnic tables and lying on the hammocks under the trees, chatting online and drinking tea at... More

This is the second time I have stayed at Rose and Roman's Gothic Eves, and it was every bit as wonderful as the first time, and even better since I stayed more nights! The rooms are beautiful and Rose and Roman anticipate your needs almost before you recognize them! The breakfasts are fantastic and Rose will explain where each item... More

If you're planning on booking more than one room, make sure you check to see if both rooms are in the same house. The Inn has two separate houses right next to each other. Rose is wonderful! She knows the area very well and can recommend great wineries and restaurants. The breakfast prepared every morning is delightful!!! The rooms are... More
