This was my first stay and I was pleasantly surprised to walk in the lobby at 8 p.m. and to have the ambiance of a large, warm fireplace and a smiling desk clerk. Stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites for the Head of the Fish. A rowing regatta that fills a lot of hotels in the area...this one happened to be available and was pet friendly. Very clean and for us an excellent location in Saratoga.There were four of us and we had plenty of room and the back yard is all woods so it was very quite. The staff was extremely polite and helpful and more than willing to give us directions to anywhere we wanted to go to. more

Clean ! Comfortable !! Great staff !! Excellent whirlpool in the main pool - usually I can't use whirlpools are they are too hot. Stayed 2 nights with a 17 year old soccer team. The hotel staff was courteous, the rooms were clean and the location was only minutes from downtown. The staff let the team stay after checkout to watch a pro soccer game on the lobby TV. I would definately stay here again. more
