The Best Western in Rockville Center is a fantastic location for access to NYC and so many locations on Long Island. We easily walked to the train station and we were in Manhattan in less then 40 minutes-perfect! The General Manager told us about all sorts of fantastic places to eat and drink all within walking distance of the hotel....

Stayed again for business and was greeted like a returning family member. The GM (Lisa I think) was a wealth of information on getting around- Train to NYC so convienent and where to eat. Although this is an older property they keep it very clean and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff led by the GM are all fantastic!...

Welcome back! Thanks for the nice review. A bigger thanks from my staff on complimenting the cleanliness of the hotel. Being built in 1964 for the New Yorks World's Fair is a daily challange for us, but haveing a great housekeeping team and front desk team make it easy. Hope to see you again.

A very clean and efficiently run hotel.
Very personable staff.
Located in Rockville Center lots of establishments to entertain me during off work hours.
Extremely easy for me to get to Manhattan via LIRR. The train stop is walking distace.

This location is excellent for a wonderful stay in extremely nice facility. Fabulous location. Cleaned daily by housekeeping staff. Breakfast is very good and has very nice presentation of food.

Stayed here the night before a flight out of JFK. The price of room definetely persuaded us to book with this hotel rather than stay right near JFK. Only a 15 minute drive to airport was great. Yes this is definatly a GREAT Location and a very safe neighborhood. Many of our visitors do take advantage of teh ability to jump into the city on a whim! Thank you for your review, Yes this is an older property that we are in the process of making improvements on. We are a landmark in Rockville Centre built in 1964 for the worlds fair. Rockville Centre is a great community to stay in try us again in the spring!

This is an old, very out-of-date property. Like an old motel, rooms open directly to the outside, not a lobby. A large window in each room needs to be carefully curtained, otherwise the inside of the room can be seen by anyone walking by. As a woman, traveling alone, arriving at night, the environment did not feel at all safe....

Unfortunatly all the business and hotels in the area are built between the highway and the train station.
