The Chateau is very pretty from the outside, unfortunately inside it needs some basic maintenance to qualify for it's four star rating - simple things like floor tiles loose in our room and the toilet door not fitting properly making it impossible to close. Beautifully typical Normandy chateau. Good staff, convenient location, great dinners, comfortable bed! Our room at the top was charming but inaccessible for the unfit. Ask for a lower room if you can't climb many stairs. Would go back in a heartbeat!
