The area is beautiful, short walk to the beach from any of the rooms we had. The rooms are very old and dirty, me and my girlfriend only stayed cause we payed a month earlier and it wasn't refundable. If you do go here try to haggle the price cause its really not worth the money to stay here, we... more

Driftwood is a good place to stay when you want to get out of the city and be on the beach. The beach is private with chairs and clean towels - it felt like a resort! It's a bare-essentials type of place, and not exactly shiny new, but because the rooms are big, clean, have a kitchen and are right on... more

Great location with a great beach. Don't come if you are expecting the Ritz or Four Seasons. Updated rooms are nice and this is a great place for large family's. The outdoor beach facing area (i.e. Ocean Front Suites) is great for large groups and you should book Units next to each other to share grills tables etc. The bigger... more

From the moment we drove into the Driftwood, we loved it! Low Keyed place. Beautiful plantings and the ocean at your front door. Lots for our kids to do from shuffleboard, new playground, tennis, swimming pool and of course the beautiful beach. We heard all the units are individually owned. We stayed in a one bedroom with a kitchenette. It... more

this was a very overpriced stay; the appartments are very old, poorly maintained and dirty. the bed was old, bathroom very sad. but we paid 300 bucks a night to stay out here! Unbelievable! I guess a lot of people take this for granted... more

Stayed here after not coming back 4 years. The place looks clean and money is surely being spent by owners to fix up the units interiors. The room cleaners are formely from Panoramic a score for visitors to DRIFTWOOD they really know how to clean. The manager is pleasant. There are renovated and un renovated rooms but from what I... more

My son has been dreaming about our next trip here all winter. This is a special place for kids and families. Don't come here if you are looking for Hampton's attitude or trying to make the scene. Don't come if you don't like kids running around! Do come if you are looking to relax and chill out. My advice though... more

All of the negatives I've read in the reviews are true!!! Our carpet was filthy as well, another family we met had tile flooring instead in an updated unit & complained of the floor being filthy also. Everyones feet were black within a half hour at night. Our comfortor was stained as well. The cleaning service is quite poor. Our... more

The Driftwood is one of the nicest places to stay in the world! The staff and management are wonderful. The rooms are clean and up to date. The view is great! The pool is heated and clean! The grounds are well kept. When you walk out to the ocean, the staff is right there with lounges and umbrellas! There is... more

I recently stayed in a renovated room at the Driftwood for a Girls Getaway weekend. We were pleasantly surprised! The room was adorable. We could sit outside in the sun and grill, or take a short walk down to the beach. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It wasn't glamourous by any means, but it was... more
