first of all, Montauk is not full of high end resorts. It's a family oriented town. The Born Free is located across the street from the beach and within walking distance to the town. I just surprised my fiancé with a weekend trip to Montauk. The main events of the trip were seal watching on Sunday morning at Montauk Point State Park (where the lighthouse is) followed by an afternoon at Atlantis Marine World.
