We visited the Inn last fall for our "Babymoon." We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. I am picky about B&B's, but William Henry Miller Inn was exceptionally clean. The amenities in the room were so nice. Lynette is an incredible cook/baker. We loved the dessert bar each night. She recommended fantastic restaurants. The location was close to everything. I'd... We stayed four nights at the William Henry Miller Inn in May 2013. Everything was perfection. First - Lynette Schofield, the innkeeper. One of the reasons we like to stay at B&Bs is to meet new people, so the innkeeper can make or break an inn for us. Lynette is a dream innkeeper. She was awarded Innkeeper of the Year... More

Fantastic food, great location and the best, most customer focused service my wife and I have experienced anywhere. We have stayed here every time we visit Ithaca. Just one block from the central shops and walkway downtown, you couldn't have a better location. The innkeeper is like family with great recommendations for each visit and remembering all our special needs.... More

I don't think I can add any more superlatives to the previous reviews, other than agree with them all. Our stay was absolutely delightful. We arrived after a drive from Buffalo, our first day driving on the left hand side and I guess you could say we were a little stressed. We mentioned this to Kate when she greeted us... More

The first moment I spoke to the owner to make a reservation she was so pleasant and accommodating, making the booking of our stay such a unique wonderful experience. The no stress, warm welcoming attitude continued on into our visit and stay at the William Henry Miller Inn. We enjoyed the comfort of this homey Inn and delighted in the... More

I can't say enough about the delightful William Henry Miller Inn. The beauty, charm and ambience of the Inn is exceptional and the warmth and welcome of the innkeepers is so special. You will love the location too. I can't wait to return!

My wife and I stayed here with my parents in the fall, and I have been meaning to write this review for some time. The William Henry Miller Inn sets the standard for B&B accommodation, and having lived in the US for three years, without any exaggeration I can say that this is one of the best places I have... First off you need to recognize that Ithaca, NY has about the worst collection of accommodations of any college town this size in the USA. That being said, we enjoyed our stay at the quirky, competent William Henry Miller Inn. Big pluses were the aforementioned location--you can leave your car for the weekend and walk almost everywhere-- two blocks from... More

Thanks for your insightful review! First and foremost, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. I just wanted to address a couple of the points you raised. Single digit temperatures and an 1880 house can make my hair grayer than it is already! I am so sorry that you experienced the fluctuation in temperature. If you return again (and... More

I had the pleasure of staying here the first week in November 2012 (over two months ago). Today, I found myself on this site scouting out future travel plans when I was reminded of my experience at The WHM Inn. I have never written a lodging review before and I couldn't think of a better place to start! Dave and... More

I just got home from my mini-getaway to Ithaca with a friend to celebrate my sixtieth birthday, and the memory couldn't be better. The William Henry Miller Inn is conveniently located in downtown Ithaca, within an easy walking distance of the Commons and its numerous shops and restaurants. From the minute we walked through the door, Lynnette couldn't have been... More

Thank you for your kind, kind words and needless to say, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay! We love our desserts at night (some days I love them too much as my hips will attest....) and we're so glad that YOU loved it. Birthday cakes are lots of fun for us to do. Thank you for your flexibility... More
