We stayed for two nights with friends. Don't need to write a long review as what the other people are saying is all true. The Fairlawn is what you expect when you go a well run B&B; clean rooms, good breakfast, a place with personality, and most of all a very accomodating and friendly Innkeeper. more

After many visits to the Fairlawn over the past years, we feel entitled to do some well-deserved bragging about the Inn and it's owner/innkeeper, Chuck. After returning home recently from a refreshing weekend in the Catskills, we reflected on the great service and ambience that Chuck provides for his guests. He truly loves the Inn and is passionate about its... more

We booked a trip last minute before the labor day weekend so we ended up with the smallest room in the inn. Still, it was very nice and had all the necessary amenities for a weekend getaway and was reasonably priced. In the evening, the innkeeper lit a a fire on the outdoor patio area (very nice custom-made fire pit)... more

The inn and it's grounds are very lovely . We stayed in the Glenwood room . It was decorated in charming, rustic style and was quite clean and comfortable. It had a nice flat screen TV and fire place, which I imagine would be great in the winter. The higlight of the room was the spacious whirlpool tub. It was... more

Friends and I had a four night stay at the Fairlawn Inn that began with a welcoming barbeque. The setting allowed enough options to find a spot to sit alone if you'd like, or join in on the social interaction in a comfortable dining room, covered porch, or open patio with beautiful landscaping. My room was immaculate and very comfortable,... more

This hotel was perfect. The rooms were beautiful designed. Everything from the garden to the bedroom was filled with wonderful colors. The bed was cozy. The breakfast was delicious. It was a great stay and would be highly recommended. Did I mention that the inn keeper was fabulous. He was friendly and even provided directions around town. They have everything... more

2009 was the third year that a friend and I stayed at The Fairlawn Inn during Mountain Jam, and, this year, other friends of ours joined us. Our rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable. Some of us had beautiful claw foot tubs to soak and relax in others had a jacuzzi. The outdoor sitting areas and gardens... more

The Fairlawn Inn is in a good location in a nice town. My issues may have stemmed from the fact that we visited in early November right before they were going to close up for the season. It was obvious that it is a one man show and on this particular weekend, the man in charge seemed about ready to... more

First of all I do not understand when a guest waits four months to post a review. But regardless I would like to respond to it. As you can see we normally get five stars and are proud of what we have to offer. The ceiling being leaky, is a result of previous guests not insuring their shower curtains are...

Inn is well located on 23A about a hundred yards past Hunter's main entrance. Exterior is lovely. Interior is uniquely decorated. a little cluttered with lots of... more
