As a family of four, we spent a night at the USGH - for what we needed (somewhere clean, non-corporate, quiet and within walking distance of the main st), it fitted the brief perfectly. Although old architecture, the feel of the place is contemporary and eclectic (creative and quirky). We'll come back.

this inn has a cancellation policy that is extremely rigid. twenty minutes after reserving i found out my mother was having major surgery. within 30 minutes i was on the phone to cancel, no response as in no one ever answers the phone. also my emails went unaddressed. i had to pay for that night. disgraceful customer service
