This may be considered rustic by some, but the location, service, ambience etc are first class. The owner of my company prefers to stay there because of location and service. If you like Holiday Inns, this may not be the best place for you. If you have two ounces of adventure and a desire to take in the community you will... More

This a beautiful Inn like hotel. It is a old colonial house with beautiful patios. The room I stayed in was huge, room 104, it looked more like a suite. furniture is kind of old but in good condition. There is no air conditioning or heating unit in the room, only a switch to turn on and off a fan.... More

The Meson Santa Rosa is a wonderful colonial hotel in the District Historico de Queretaro. It is just off the Plaza de Armas. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of everything in the old colonial center of town. The rooms are large and beautiful and surround one of three indoor patios. The first overlooks a covered patio where... More

This hotel felt insecure. I will not stay here again and would not recommend it. Next time i will try other hotels in the city which are well located and have been recommended to me by locals.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and charming. The hotel restaurant was nicely decorated for the holidays. Our room was nice a bit cold because we didn't get any sunshine and there is no heating! but the staff were all very very nice, very friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the back house where the pool is. There was some... More

I had found this hotel when walking through Queretaro's beautiful center last summer and decided to come back and stay at Meson Santa Rosa on my recent trip through colonial Mexico. I really liked the Meson Santa Rosa and it's beautiful setting of the gardens in it's interior. We stayed in the backhouse, by the pool which would have been... More

We stayed at the Meson de Santa Rosa only one night, on a Sunday after the long weekend of the "Dia de Muertos", coming from Mexico City. The staff were very, very nice and charming, and without us even asking they upgraded both us and our friends to suites - which are enormous, decorated in a colonial/early republican style (i.e.,... 16 months later and the hotel management still refuse to deal with the theft of my camera by a member of their staff. We strongly recommend to our friends and customers not to stay at this hotel.
