After a long drive on gravel roads we arrived at this Lodge. The welcome was warm and the location was well presented and explained. The staff was friendly and extremly helpful with a repair on our cars tail gate. We had good food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere with reasonable prices. Our stay was great.

so so...beautiful looking from outside, not so much from inside. Rooms are basic but the biggest issue is that it is like a sauna inside. Does not cool down in the night, makes it difficult to sleep. All rooms are twin beds, not so nice for a couple. Some of the staff friendly and others act like they hate their... More

We stayed here for two nights in early March. It was very hot when we arrived and the area looked very dry. The lodge was well camouflaged with the surroundings but the location looked stark because of the lack of greenery. Parking was not close to the lodge but we could drive close for unloading. The reception was welcoming. A... More

I booked this though the hotel office and as I had some problems with my travelling, I firstly want to thank them for being so flexible. The location is stunning, the main parts of the hotel is built into the rock behind as are the views from the bar and restaurant. It is well worth going for a walk after... More

The lodge is very well situated and designed. The views from the restaurant and bar are great. One can sit in the bar and watch the rock hyraxes on the nearby rocks surrounding the lodge. The rooms were adequate and clean, some have good views over the plain but some face the rock face. The food was adequate, but not... More

The location of this lodge is simply outstanding. It's surrounded by red rocks and really nestled into the mountains. To watch the sun go down from the bar / restaurant is a very special feeling. And early in the morning the various colours of the desert are so wonderful mild. The variety of food is outstanding and so dinner as well... More

We arrived here on a 2 night stop over en route to Etosha and chose it because of its proximity to the local sights, particularly the rock carvings. Its situation, built into the rocks is remarkable as is the view across the valley. The restaurant and bar both command huge views. The food quality (buffet I'm afraid but with an... More
