The rooms were clean and big. Dinner was great. The staff keep on ensuring if we are comfortable and my partner jokingly said that he'll like a cuppa coffee to be served in the room before breakfast... And true enough we received a pot of hot coffee at 7am!

We stayed here for two nights in September 2011 while on our Honeymoon. The Lodge is very cool with amazing views and great sunsets. We were staying in a family room which was huge and even had our own little plunge pool. (there is a nice bigger pool up at the main lodge). The food was excellent and we could... More

We had two nights in Palmwag. The first night we stayed in the main lodge. We had a family room which was very spacious and had good facilities, even if it had a tiny pool. We had a very good night and had comfy beds, although we did have to use mosquito nets. Palmwag lodge was nicely set up and... More

Large, basic room (No. B4) with no view, large bathroom, fan and in-room safe. Meals all very good. Lovely bar with outdoor seating for sundowners & sunset viewing. Staff at reception a little unorganized. Knowledgeable guides. Resident elephant Sebastian was the only elephant we saw. From Palmwag Lodge, we made excursions to the school and community of Bergsig, the petroglyphs... More

Early morning breakfast and ready for our next flight which took us to Palmwag Lodge, an oasis in this very dry arid landscape. I found Palmwag Lodge an interesting place and combine all types of accommodations from tents to bungalows and chalets, there is a good mixture of new and old. The manager Jason is very friendly and passionate about... More

The lodge itself is not spectatcular at all. Quite old now, but still charming. No more animals at the waterhole, as the hole is overgrown with a kind of bamboo. Food is very good, service as well. Part of their busienss is repairing flat tyres: an average of 8 per day, which tells you that the roats to Palmwag (especially... More

I had one night here - not my first choice but I could not get the two nights I wanted at Grootberg (which is magnificent!). Welcome was okay and I was shown to my room/chalet but no offer of assistance with luggage! I did not take any of the excursions due to time constraints - very little wildlife to be... More

This was an equal favourite destination on our whole trip to Namibia. We were advised by a few people to skip Palmwag but I am so glad that we didn't listen to them. The drive into the lodge itself is absolutely spectacular - surrounded by the flat-topped Etendeka Mountains. We camped at the campsite for three nights - this is... More
