I went on the Nosy Iranja island almost 12 years ago, with the World Wildlife Found (WWF). We were a group of 15 Italians coming from the island of Nosy Be, where we spent two weeks before. The island itself is amazing, the fishers village too, we enjoyed really nice adventures, we slept on the beach and two days later... More

Tiny tropical island in the middle of no where...Perfect for a short relaxed stay to get away from it all. Food is basic but good quality same for wine list. Ideal for snorkelling and spotting baby turtles. Quality and clean lodgings. The gym has been outdated for a long while and still is.

Location: Beautiful island, stunning small beaches, turquoise sea. Climate: 20 to 30 degrees, not sticky, cool in the evenings. Ideal summer weather. Lodge: beautiful, for those that want to enjoy the total luxury of sleeping in stunning bungalows, under the mosquito netting of four poster bed, hearing the waves of the Indian ocean break nearby. Amazing food. Staff: v nice... More

We are still fantasising about returning to this wonderful place. No telephones, no TV, no noisy crowds. Lots of room on beautiful beaches, large rooms with private garden areas, great food and friendly staff too! I'd recommend asking for a room on the sunset side of the island as watching the sunset from our private veranda was a real romantic... More

Approx 90min boat trip from Nosey Be and absolutely stunning ! Must be the premier island and hotel in Madagascar. The beaches are the typical postcard white sand with crystal clear water and the resort is the only hotel on the islands (sand bank link between two beautiful islands) Hotel island small – could walk around it in 15 min.... What a revelation Nosy Iranja was. We spent 7 nights here in April and from the moment we arrived we fell in love with this serene tranquil paradise. This is truly a get away from it all destination. Accommodation: The villas are very spacious private and beautifully decorated with all the amenities that you could wish for. They all have... More

What a fantastic getaway. We holiday to SNORKEL and live in South Africa. Have been to Mauritius a number of times but this is quite different. We are a family of 4 with children of 17 and 14 years and all enjoyed our 7 days at Nosy Iranja very much. Tranquillity, comfort, 28 deg sea water (in mid winter) and... More

The island is incredible, wonderful sea for fishing, diving (i can recommend the pit gabriel site) and even only to enjoy the white sands and the colour of the water. Very good greeting from the staff, good food and services. Priceless the opportunity to see turtles in their natural environment.
