My husband and I are not normally drawn to B and B's as they can feel a bit too intimate for our tastes, but after our stay at the Inn at Green River that may change. Although it was a friendly place, you had the option of privacy (or not) It was absolutely lovely, both the rooms and the grounds,... More

The experience at this B&B was par excellance. Deborah not only cooked a wonderful breakfast but she couldn't be any more helpful in finding things, restaurants etc to go and visit. The room was lovely and the setting was too.

We stayed with Deborah on our trip from Ontario to Brimfield and were charmed by the thoughtful touching and welcoming atmosphere. The bedroom and bed made for a perfect and restful sleep. Breakfast was delicious from the perfectly steeped teas and grilled grapefruit to a lovely omelet made with free eggs and produce found locally. We highly recommend a visit.... More

So glad you both enjoyed your stay, and in particular the loose leaf Harney Tea! Hope to see you back again for some of those wonderful events we discussed like the "Country Living" Fair in early June. More

We will be back for sure!!! Looking home base to tour the Berkshires and Hudson Valley we found everything we wanted at the Inn at Green River. Comfortable, cozy, clean, private yet welcoming! The room we stayed in was spacious and looked out onto the snowy grounds. Having not been to this region before, Deborah offered a great knowledge of... More

I stayed at the Inn at Green River for five nights in late July 2012 while I was taking a painting class with a local artist. It is a wonderfully comfortable place, thoughtfully renovated to preserve the older-home features. beautifully furnished with country antiques, vintage rugs, and eclectic artwork. The grounds offer lots of quiet spaces to sit, read, and... More

Thanks, KC, for sharing your experience at the Inn this summer. I always enjoy it when a guest stays for more than a day or two, so that I get to know you a bit better, and you get to explore all the area has to offer. I know you were occupied with your painting class. I do hope you... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was quiet, clean, and well-appointed. Breakfasts were delicious. Excellent home base for touring the Berkshires, which we did from Great Barrington in the south to Williamstown up north. Deborah know the area in detail and gave great advice on routes to take, what to see, and where to eat. Overall, an excellent experience.

Deborah is very warm and engaging and helped us with decisions on places for dinner and places to see. Her knowledge of the area is a tremendous benefit. Even prior to the visit I did a lot of... We are so pleased we found the Inn through searching the web. Reasonably priced, centrally located, quiet, and clean. Deborah was very helpful, a lovely hostess, and an excellent cook. I am not normally an early morning eater, but I looked forward to the Inn's fabulous breakfasts. We stayed in the Vandercook room, which is one of the smaller rooms.... More

Cannot say enough out this B&B. We've stayed in several B&Bs but this is one of the best. The breakfast is 1st class--coffee was out of this world and food was super creative and delicious. The room was just...so peaceful and comfy. The decor throughout the house and rooms was amazingly intricate and well-thought out. Especially loved the wall hanging... More
