We had a great time at the Inn at Twaafskill. They made us feel welcome and at home the minute we walked in the door. Having the whole Inn to ourselves was great.The rooms were wonderful and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. It was very relaxing sitting out in the garden, on the porch or watching TV.... more

Can't say enough wonderful things about our recent stay at this Inn/Bed & Breakfast. It was even nicer than pictured on line. The house is beautifully decorated in keeping with the period but also had all the luxuries you would get in a modern hotel. The rooms are comfortable (including the beds and pillows) and spacious but also very serene.... more

5 Stars all the way. Attention to detail is amazing. Everything in the Inn is spotless and nicely decorated. You feel like you are at home. Nancy is really pleasant and has a lot of great restaurant recommendations.. The Artist's Palate was fantastic. Not in a great neighborhood (Poughkeepsie).. but def worth the trip. more

The Inn at Twaalfskill was by far the best B&B we've been to. The place was beautiful. The home was totally renovated in 2005, and was impecibly done.
