Very lovely accommodations, impeccably clean and well-maintained. The innkeeper prepared a lovely breakfast and was helpful in suggesting sights of local interest. The inn was conveniently located off of the main highway so accessible to the sites but in a quiet residential neighborhood. More

My wife surprised me for a birthday weekend. Nancy the Innkeeper met us at the door with a big smile. She is such a warm person! She gave us a tour and her pride in having designed the B & B herself shined through. Our room was nicely appointed, the bathroom was beautiful and spacious, and the parlor and dining... More

This is just delightful. We came up the Hudson to see Hyde Park, buy some carpets at Dilmaghani, and eat dinner (twice) at CIA. This small gem was one of the nicest parts of the trip. The breakfasts were wonderful, one sweet and one savory every day, and all delicious. No siggy eggs here! Coffee and tea available always, lovely... More

My mother, sister and myself recently stayed at the Inn at Twaalfskill. We were met by Nancy, the owner who quickly acquainted us with the Inn and all it had to offer. Nancy was very welcoming and the Inn and our room which was Number 1 was fabulous. It was immaculately clean and the breakfasts each morning were very healthy,... More

I just completed a two-night stay at the Inn at Twaalfskill with my fiancée and my parents. On our trip upstate, we toured Vassar College, the Walkway Over the Hudson, FDR's home and Presidential Library, Eleanor's Val-Kill Cottage, West Point Military Academy, and the Culinary Institute of America. At the end of our trip, we polled each other for "favorite... More

For our daughter's out of town wedding we arranged for the Inn to be home base for our family. The 3 day stay was perfect in all ways. It truly felt like a home from our arrival to our departure. Nancy was very accommodating throughout all of the exciting preparations - including our daughter's walk in her bridal gown down... More

Not a hotel, but a wonderful bed and breakfast. My wife and I spent a lovely seven days at this great bed and breakfast in the village of Highland, NY. Of the many B and Bs we have visited, this Inn belongs at the top of the list. Our hostess was not only delightful, but a fantastic cook as well.... More

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Twaalfskill over the 4th of July weekend. We had a wonderful weekend. The inn was clean and comfortable. We stayed in Room 1. It was lovely and the bathroom was very spacious. The purpose of our trip was to do as much hiking as possible. It rained unexpectedly one day while... More

We stayed here after arriving from an international flight into JFK as a break before getting on the road home. We had a wonderful stay- the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The inn keeper was very welcoming and genuine, and the breakfast was delicious. I wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend a stay at the Inn at... More

Wife and I and another couple just spent a week at the Inn. Planned to explore the mid-Hudson Valley. Property and appointments are terrific (many family pieces, some are rare TJM antiques). Nancy is terrific hostess and cook. Breakfast, at the time you set, always had two entree choices cooked to order, in addition to pastries, fruit, etc. Her suggestions... More
